Just like in the days of the Moses, we must keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning by continuing to get our fuel from time with the Lord in the Word, prayer, and worship.

 

For Leviticus 6:12-13 (NIV) states, "The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it. The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out."  By lifting Him up daily, surrendering our days to Him, and fine tuning our ears to hear Him speaking, we will experience a greater measure of His peace and presence no matter what is happening.

Finally, we are reminded of 2 Timothy 1:6-8 (NKJV) which reminds us that, "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God".

EMBER meetings are designed to fan that flame of God in every believer who desires a deeper walk with Him and wants to soak in His presence by the offering of praise and worship "in spirit and truth", pleasing to the King and for His service.
